Nick has been carp fishing for over 25 years, a number of them holidaying in France, and it has always been his passion to maintain a fishery that was natural, uncrowded, peaceful, and ‘homely’, with pristine, hardfighting, beautiful fish.

Your holiday is important to us and we will do all that we can to ensure it lives up to, if not exceeds, your expectations. Situated close to the vibrant city of Le Mans in NorthWest France you will find Rushes Lake, a stunningly picturesque 10 acre runs carp lake that is over 350 years old.

The lake, along with the woods that run down one side, was originally used as a hunting venue. Part of the house that sits on the dam wall, once formed part of the original 17th century hunting lodge. Rushes Lake is more than just another Drive & Survive venue.
